CBD for Anxiety FAQ
🌱 How does CBD work for anxiety? CBD works by telling your body to produce more serotonin aka the brains happy chemical which anxiety sufferers like you and I are often low in. And the effects to reduce chronic stress in many cases are almost immediate.
🌱 Which is your favourite CBD oil? My favourite oil (this one) has become something I can’t go a day without anymore, and within only 10 minutes or so I feel calmer after taking it.
🌱 Will CBD make me high? Even though CBD does have instant effects, it’s more a calming effect, and not a “high” effect.
🌱 Will CBD “cure” my anxiety? I don’t want you to think of CBD as a “quick fix.” It should very much be part of your ongoing lifestyle, as it is for me.
🌱 Can I still drive if I take it? Since CBD doesn’t make you high, rather giving you calming effects, it isn’t typically known to affect driving capability. However, I would recommend trying it at home for a while so you can get used to how it affects you before driving right after.
🌱 Will it show up on a drug test? The CBD I use has a 0.1% chance or less of showing up on a drug test.
🌱 Can I take it with my other supplements? What about with prescription meds? I take it with my other supplements with no issues or side effects and research shows that CBD does not typically interact negatively with supplements. If you’re on prescription medication, it’s always best to first consult with your doctor!
🌱 How much should I take? It’s different for everyone and after using it yourself, you will begin to intuitively know how much you need. I usually take a dropper of CBD oil with my supplements after breakfast and then another dropper before bed. But always check the label for specific starting guidelines. You can smoke CBD too, and even take it as edibles if you prefer.
